About me

I am and undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin Madison. I am a junior pursuing a double major in Biology and Life Science Communication.  Upon graduation, I plan to earn my Bachelors of Nursing and pursue a career in healthcare! My ultimate goal is to receive my Masters in Nursing with a specialty in Pediatrics. 

My interest in science dates back to my high school years, where I attended a charter school that was focused on the health sciences. Classes such as chemistry, biology, and anatomy fascinated me. When it came to my undergraduate curriculum, I enrolled in similar courses that would help me expand my knowledge and fuel my passion for science.  

Outside of my interest in science, I enjoy spending time outside. During the summer, my friends and I go hiking, biking and swimming. Being able to experience nature and take time away from work is very important to me and spending time outside is the perfect solution! 

I also enjoy going to the gym, playing video games with my brother and watching movies with my family. I also enjoy dancing and playing the flute! These two passions largely contributed to my high school experience and has supported me with leadership roles that have taught me valuable skills.
