I attended the High School of Health Sciences within Kettle Moraine High School. This was a charter school that emphasized a health science cirriculum.
My science coursework focused on anatomy, physiology, chemistry, biology, and medical terminology to prepare me for a healthcare career.
I am currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and I am pursuing a double major in Biology and Life Science Communication.
While attending this university, I have participated in research and taken difficult classes that will prepare me for nursing school and my future healthcare career.
During my junior year of high school, I participated in a Certified Nursing Assistant program through Aurora Healthcare.
This program lasted six weeks, with three weeks of classroom learning and three weeks of clinical experience. This was an incredibly interesting experience and gave me insight into working in healthcare.
